ACP stands for ‘Aluminium Composite Panel’ also termed as ACM ‘Aluminium Composite Material’. ACM / ACP sheets are flat panels made of a non-aluminium core sandwiched between two thin aluminium layers. They are lightweight, durable, and versatile, making them widely used in construction and architecture. The core may be Polyethylene (PE), Fire-Retardant (FR) mineral-filled material, or metal, while the aluminium skins provide strength, rigidity, and weather resistance, with the core adding insulation and structural support. ACM sheets also come in a wide range of colors, finishes, and textures, offering architects and designers greater flexibility in achieving aesthetic and functional goals.
